Karma

Sooooo I should be working on some summer Model UN stuff right now...well, technically, I am. Just doing this at the same time. Haha. Well folks, it just so happens that I believe in Karma. I'm sure that shocks none of you. Well, none of you who know me at least a little. I think that the universe has a way of evening the score. I mean, no, not every little thing you do is getting tallied in a big box marked 'good' or a big box marked 'bad', and stuff happens to you in correspondence to that. However, I believe that if someone leads a good life, always sees the best in people, helps out there friends and neighbors, they'll get some good luck every once in a while. And, if you are a total dick-wad and do nothing worth remembering your whole life, all the while screwing people over, bad shit just might come your way. . .

Then again, there are just those people [[I know a couple of 'em]] that lead decent lives, love their family, try to do right by everyone, and just keep getting bad luck, over and over again. I'm not talking about 'someone unscrewed the salt shaker lid' bad luck. I mean, situations that really suck, and that I wouldn't wish on anyone {well, maybe a few people....}

I wish there were some general rules for Karma, just some simple "dos & don'ts" if you will. It would make the whole thing a lot simpler, if we all knew what to truly avoid, and how many lines you had to cross before something terrible happened to you. I dont know...maybe I'm just neive and Karma has nothing to do with it::maybe nothing we do is connected at all, and everything that happens is random...

That's kind of a scary thought, actually. One I don't think I will indulge in for any longer....

Well, break out the champagne, this is my first blog entry. I was informed today that I did not seem the blogging type. Truth be told, I'm really not. I just like to write, and putting my thoughts and feelings into writing helps me organize things. Above all that though, sometimes things happen to me that, if I put them out there and word them right, others can learn from them. I'm not going to whine and bitch about stuff, or give you all a play by play of what I do on a daily basis. Just what matters, or what I think matters.
